OH NO!!! Cocaine Shortage!

After Winter, No More Snow

An anonymous drug dealer says he used to clock $20,000 on a good day hustling, but now is studying for his GED, because the game is no longer profitable enough. Bet you didn't know the region may currently be experiencing a shortage of the white stuff. Whatever will we do? Will the dealers start taking up second jobs?

BodyMore, Murderland: Killer Of Four Gets 9 Life Sentences

Doing Business Baltimore Style

Willie Mitchell, aged 31 was sentenced last week to nine life terms in addition to 60 years in prison. Mitchell was convicted of killing four people within two years in Baltimore and Randallstown.

Mitchell along with his associates ran a lucrative drug dealing operation between Baltimore and Pennsylvania. When he thought his competitors had it in for him, he had a simple solution. Kill em!

First a man and woman together, then two brothers during an armed robbery. And these are just the ones prosecutors were able to convict on. Prosecutors believe Mitchell and his associates are responsible for a whole range of crime and mayhem including killings, armed robberies, and even home invasions from the period of time between 1996 and 2006.

Record Cocaine Bust Remains Shrouded In Mystery

Who, what, when, where, how? These are the typical facts a good reporter begins with, but in the case of the record setting 91 pounds of cocaine seized by Baltimore Police, very litttle is known. At this point, police are being extremely vague in details, only saying it occurred, "somewhere in Baltimore."

Several experts and residents alike are already casting a suspicious eye on the validity and truthfulness of the bust. Some even going as far suggesting the whole thing is part of an elaborate hoax to gain Commissioner Bealefeld and the Baltimore Police Department, much needed political points. At a time when the department has been under fire from many sides including City Hall, one has to wonder?

With no location, and no name of the lone individual present in the house with the $3 million dollars worth of coke, and $11,000 cash, this case is just plain ole strange. When pressed for details on the case, Commissioner Bealefeld says, "We have some ideas and frankly we're being very coy because we have some good ideas about where we're going next."

THE WIRE: Man Convicted For Smuggling Cocaine & Heroin

For those who continue to think The Wire is fiction (attention Mayor Dixon & Governor O'Malley)

Derrick "Prince" Gilliard was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison on Friday for conspiracy to import heroin and cocaine. In a plea deal, he admitted to bringing in over 150 kilos of coke and heroin, but was convicted of a much smaller amount. The government referred to Prince as a "seasoned drug smuggler and businessman."

He was known to recruit women couriers who he sent overseas with large sums of money, and they came back to Baltimore with kilos of drugs which was then redistributed. The women were paid between $8,000 and $12,000 per trip and imported over 600 kilos of cocaine and heroin into the United States.

So, if this was just one man. Imagine how many others out there haven't been caught yet?

To all those who willfully, deliberately and routinely violate the civil rights of law abiding American Citizens; Yes, you're powerful. Sure, you're everywhere. But this is still America, and the Constitution of the United States Of America still reigns supreme as the law of the land. The Baltimore Spectator will vigorously and aggressively defend against any and all attempts at spying and suppression. In the end, efforts to impinge upon the freedoms of the people will ultimately fail. Some of us may get taken out in the ongoing battle for true and lasting freedom, but as I've said many times before, and will say till the day I die or get taken out by you goons, THERE ARE MORE OF US, THAN THERE ARE OF YOU.
