Senator Edward Kennedy, Dead At 77
“We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever,” a family statement said. “We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice.”

SHOCK: DNA Evidence Can Be Fabricated!
“You can just engineer a crime scene,” said Dan Frumkin, lead author of the paper, which has been published online by the journal Forensic Science International: Genetics. “Any biology undergraduate could perform this.”
“DNA is a lot easier to plant at a crime scene than fingerprints. We’re creating a criminal justice system that is increasingly relying on this technology.” - Tania Simoncelli, science adviser to the American Civil Liberties Union
Scientists in Israel have demonstrated that it is possible to fabricate DNA evidence, undermining the credibility of what has been considered the gold standard of proof in criminal cases.
To all those who think Governor Martin O'Malley wanting to build up a DNA sample bank can't be twisted for nefarious purposes, you need to read this story closely.
The scientists fabricated blood and saliva samples containing DNA from a person other than the donor of the blood and saliva. They also showed that if they had access to a DNA profile in a database (like the one O'Malley is trying to build), they could construct a sample of DNA to match that profile without obtaining any tissue from that person.

Ramped Up "Abandonded Vehicles" Enforcement Another Avenue For Abuse
By A.F. James MacArthur Ph.A.L., Managing Editor
Mayor Sheila Dixon announced a new stepped up effort to remove abandoned vehicles from the streets and private property. The city has lowered the time to get a vehicle towed from a public street to 5 days and from private property to 15 days. Dixon says since it is football season the city is calling the campaign, RAVN Remove Abandoned Vehicles Now (I'm not making this up).
Sorry, I don't buy it. You guys are a bunch of crooks and you know it! When I went on vacation for two weeks, my privately owned vehicle was parked in front of my house, it was cited and towed as an "abandoned vehicle." What a load of crap Mayor Dixon! Admit it, this program will allow you to raise much needed revenue like when I had to pay hundreds of dollars to retrieve my legally parked vehicle on more than one occaison. Another time it was even ticketed twice in one day as an "abaondoned vehicle." A quick check of the tags would have showed it was registered to the address it was located in front of. How on earth could this be abandoned?
I suppose the brand new, high end, factory spec paint job and the mirror like glossy clear coat really didn't help things. This is Baltimore, when the city wants to screw you, they will find a way to justify it no matter what.
Then there's the issue of the classic motorcycles I was restoring. You bastards hit me for that too. Coming onto my private property and taking the bikes. Nice one! I swear, how can people sleep with themselves knowing they are looting other people's private property in the name of government?
Abandonded vehicles may pose a real problem in this city, but the level of fraud, abuse and blatant criminal behavior within the Dept. Of Transportation via ticketing, towing and the impound lot is so common it's not even news. Even after the city has acknowledged a vehicle shouldn't have been towed, they still demand the towing, storage, impound and "administrative" fees. This new program will only broaden the ability for abuse.
You guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves, but I forgot, this is Baltimore. There is no shame! If there was, the status quo that passes for acceptable performance in government would draw mass outrage and demonstrating in the streets. But alas, the masses are all either too drunk, high or stoned,(legions of addicts reside in Baltimore) or ignorant ( note the high level of high school drop outs and adult illitaracy) to care or notice.
Keep calling me delusional, radical or what ever other epithets you can come up with. If Baltimore's incumbent elected officials don't think more and more of the people aren't getting wise to their ways, then their are the ones in a delusion of denial. I can only pray, hope and dream that one day the people of Baltimore will wake up, and will throw you bums out. The same ones that have been sitting in office for years and doing absolutely nothing to make a difference. Nothing but talk, talk, talk, while Baltimore city sinks lower and lower below the surface.
As you look for more ways to take money and property that's not yours, take note, some of us are on to you. Remember, the Spectator's watching!
So How's That Crime Decline Coming?
Mayor Dixon; if a murder a day keeps the tourists away, what does a double shooting in the center of the tourist district say?
"People might not like it, some radicals [Baltimore Spectator] are going to speak out about it. Our officers are going to have to be more aggressive." -- Mayor Sheila Dixon
Commissioner Bealefeld; do we get to see you walk foot patrol and declare the Inner Harbor safe once again? Last time you said it, I actually B E I L I E V E D.
Was The Commish Talking About Us?
"I don't want to attract attention. I want to attract action. It's not a spectator sport to be involved in your community." - Baltimore Police Commissioner Frederick Bealefeld III

But alas, despite our reach and penetration, despite our list of distinguished readers, I suppose I am still nothing but a delusional mad man. If you ask Maryland Judiciary that's what they'll tell you.

MESSAGE TO ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT/INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES
To all those who willfully, deliberately and routinely violate the civil rights of law abiding American Citizens; Yes, you're powerful. Sure, you're everywhere. But this is still America, and the Constitution of the United States Of America still reigns supreme as the law of the land. The Baltimore Spectator will vigorously and aggressively defend against any and all attempts at spying and suppression. Let it be known to all that we are already aware of the regular monitoring and shadowing attempts. There is nothing to hide, but cross the line and there will be hell to pay.
In the end, efforts to impinge upon the freedoms of the people will ultimately fail. Some of us may get taken out in the ongoing battle for true and lasting freedom, but as I've said many times before, and will say till the day I die or get taken out by you goons, THERE ARE MORE OF US, THAN THERE ARE OF YOU.
