Baltimore Police are on scene at the 5300 block of Lantern Court for a report of two men shot. The incident is the fourth multi-victim shooting in as many days, observed The Baltimore Sun's Justin Fenton on Twitter.
The call may have come in shortly before 10:00 p.m. Thursday night. Police were observed in the far corner, of a darkened, dead-end parking lot, adjacent to a quiet seeming, well maintained community of town homes.
What appeared to be multiple shell casings were seen on the ground, spread across in a linear pattern in the parking lot.
The status and condition of the victims was not known at the time of this filing. No statements or information from police was given to The Baltimore Spectator on scene.
Peculiar for a location where two people were reported shot, there were no bystanders or neighbors observing the scene. The usual door to door canvassing by police for witnesses was also notably absent.
All activity of investigation appear focused on the darkened lot, surrounded by thick woods on two sides.
