The Cuban government
arrested the country's most popular blogger to prevent her from covering a trial. This actually happens everyday in our country. The bloggers regularly detained here may not be the most popular, but their deserving of free speech is crucial non the less.
With the Patriot Act, National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and a whole host of presidential Executive Orders, the United States is on the verge of seeing this sort of government control and censorship of truth reach an all time high.
