Child Sex Abuse Former Teacher Arrested Again

Former Baltimore County Teacher Had History Of Child Sex Offense

Timothy Gounaris, aged 52 was arrested on Friday by the FBI for possession of child pornography. Gounaris, already a registered sex offender could face a 10 year bid in prison.

Due to his prior conviction of a sexual offense with a minor, the former Baltimore County teach could be in big trouble this time. Sadly, although he was originally sentenced to 10 years in prison, he had all but 18 months suspended and was out on "supervised" probation at the time of the arrest.

The FBI using the common, peer to peer file sharing software LimeWire was able remotely hone in on this offender who obviously should not be out on the streets and is in need of serious help. The Maryland Daily Record has an excellent report.
