Police Crime Lab Failures

In an article harshly critical of the Baltimore Police crime lab, the Baltimore Sun, lists many failures and deficiencies of yet another Baltimore city government public agency. An independent audit which the Police Department initially refused to release to the public, found the lab inadequately staffed, equipment out of order, and evidence stored in rooms too warm, which could cause it to degrade.
