Monday ended With only a two shootings reported in the last seven days. Baltimore continues to have momentary peace during a much welcomed, yet unexpected virtual ceasefire.
So few shootings over a weeks time is extremely rare in the city.
In January, nearly everyday saw at least one shooting. On some days there were several. This resulted in 25 homicides and scores of other non fatal shootings, making it one of the most deadly months in recent history.
It will take a lot of hard work, but we must work to change this.
Sadly, with it's violent history, Baltimore has clearly earned it's spot on the list of the 50 Most Dangerous Cities In The World.
