Suspect Reported In Custody After Two Teenagers Shot

A 14 year-old and a 15 year-old were both shot inside the gymnasium at Frederick High School Wednesday night.
The incident is reported to have happened around 8 p.m. at a junior-varsity basketball game.
The 14 year-old suffered a gun shot wound to the back, and the 15 year old was shot in the upper leg. The sex of the victims was not released. Frederick County Fire officials say the injuries aren’t life-threatening.
Both victims were transported in critical condition, by Maryland State Police Med-Evac, to Johns Hopkins Hospital, Pediatric Trauma unit.
Police have not released information on the suspect in custody, how many more there may be or a possible motive.
One area news site reported as many as four suspects were still at large.
