NAKED GUN -- Naked college freshman shot dead by campus police

A naked college kid shot and killed by campus police leaves me asking many questions. The University of South Alabama must be one strange place.

First off, it's quite clear not only was the kid unarmed, but he obviously didn't have a means of concealing any weapons on himself either. Furthermore, it's being said the officer had little choice but to blast this kid away. Really, so that's how confrontations are dealt with now? No mace, no baton? Why are routine police situations now having a fatality level matching that of military combat?
