Michael Phelps Hiding Out In Strip Clubs

Local sources had long ago revealed to The Baltimore Spectator, that gold medal Olympian Michael Phelps frequents strip clubs, including several in his Fells Points neighborhood. The girls say he usually comes in with a friend or two and has a "don't you know who I am" superstar type attitude about him.

This along with the folks at a local tavern who told me Phelps once came in with a young looking friend who had no ID. After refusing to serve the friend, Phelps got into into a shouting match with bar tenders who refused to serve the friend. Phelps' insisted they serve the friend based on his vouching for him.

After escorting Phelps out of the establishments the bar tenders had a bit of fun at his expense. They cut out the front of a Kellogg's cereal box with the swimmers picture, drew a huge red circle with a slash through it over his face, and placed it prominently on display behind the bar.

At this point those cereal boxes could be collector items for rabid fans. Since the cereal maker dropped the Baltimore Bullet, we soon won't be seeing them anymore. Of course, word from the supermarkets is, due to potheads having the munchies, they can hardly keep the shelves stocked. ;-)

A New York gossip column reports the fishman has also tinted the windows on his house. No word if he now plans to have the strippers and weed in the privacy of his home from now on.
